I have to run out and get more sculpey, but my ivysaur planter is starting to come along!
would anybody be interested in me explaining the process? i’ve never worked this big before but the stuff I learned in 3D design seems to apply well
Looks awesome!!! Great idea. I do have to say though, my fiancé and our room mate have both made some sculpey pots. They did not use any kind of terracotta around the plant, just tried to build space for drainage. (And apply some protective coating on the inner walls.) However, they still were damaged and cracked around some areas that probably had to do with watering and pressure from the weight. You probably won’t have these issues because of his pose and how he’s built, but just in case, I would suggest a plant like a succulent that doesn’t need much water. (Judging from your concept art, that’s probably what you had in mind, right? Or am I totally off?)
